United We Stand Stamp Debutes on Glatfelter Paper

YORK, PA - Glatfelter (NYSE: GLT) announced today that the new United We Stand stamp issued today by the U.S. Postal Service is printed on paper made at its facility in Spring Grove, PA.

Glatfelter, a global supplier of specialized printing paper and engineered products that include stamp paper, is producing more than 500 tons of the stamps face stock paper and 200 tons of the release liner on which the stamp is produced. Glatfelter is the largest supplier of postage stamp paper in the United States and a major supplier of stamp paper in Europe.

The United We Stand postage stamp is available today in post offices in Pennsylvania, New York, Washington, D.C. and New Jersey. The stamp will be available at post offices nationwide beginning November 5.

The first-day issue locations reflect the sites of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States. The pressure-sensitive, self-adhesive stamp is available in booklets of 20 stamps and coils of 100.
